What is GapOnly®?
GapOnly® is an innovative service that allows you to claim on your pet insurance policy while you’re still at the clinic. This means, for eligible claims, you only pay the ‘gap’ – the difference between your vet’s invoice and the eligible claim benefit from your pet insurance policy. No more waiting days for reimbursements!
How Does GapOnly® Work? It’s as simple as 1, 2, 3:
- Let Us Know: When you bring your pet in for treatment, simply tell our team you’d like to make a GapOnly® claim.
- On-the-Spot Processing: We’ll submit your claim digitally on your behalf, and in most cases, it will be assessed by your insurer in around 10 minutes.
- Pay the Gap and Go: Once your claim is approved, you just pay the remaining ‘gap’ amount, and you’re all set!

Don’t want to use GapOnly®? We Offer E-Claims!
In these instances, we can still submit your pet insurance claim electronically on your behalf through our e-claims service. This is the next fastest way to claim, with most e-claims processed within 5-10 business days. You will still pay the full vet bill upfront, and your insurer will reimburse you directly.
