Puppy pre-school runs for four weeks, with a one hour session once a week, providing a positive and safe socialisation environment for puppies between the age of 10-14 weeks. Due to vaccination schedules, puppies immune systems are not completely supported to go out into public areas until approximately 18 weeks of age, making it difficult to socialise your puppy before this time. A puppies peak socialisation period is between 12 weeks to 5 months of age. In this time you want to introduce your puppies to as many new things as possible. Puppy pre-school is a great way to introduce your new puppy to other puppies as well as making the veterinary clinic a positive environment for them. They will also learn basic commands whilst you as the owner learn everything you need to know about your puppies health and wellbeing.
